As we near the first anniversary of the passing of our colleague Richard Kenchington, UOW ANCORS have organised a small event to celebrate his contribution to marine conservation and management.

The inaugural Richard Kenchington Memorial Lecture will be held at ANCORS on Thursday 21st March (5.30-7pm).

It will feature Dr Jon Day, a previous Director of GBRMPA and a legend of MPA planning as the keynote speaker as well as our very own Martin Tsamenyi, speaking on Richards contributions, and Constance Rambourg, speaking on her PhD research into MPAs.

The talks will explore past present and future trends in MPAs and MPA management.
