Dear Neighbours

Regretfully, I am passing sad news that our former neighbour and friend to several of us, Richard Kenchington, passed away last Wednesday 1 March.

The Kenchington family were resident in our neighbourhood for 23 years having lived at Galbu Place since 1997.

They were regular attenders at our annual December Drinks events and keen participants in our Community Fire Unit.

I recall taking some photos over the years including this one of Richard in May 2009.

In July 2020 I was invited to their farewell from Galbu Place and took this portrait with their dog Baxter. (Below)

In their retirement they moved to smaller premises in Ainslie.

I have passed on our sincere condolences to Carol and her family.
