Richard Kenchington was of enormous help to the Australian Association of Maritime Affairs during my association with the AAMA, from 2009 to 2014.

He had an enormous range of contacts across the spectrum of Australian maritime affairs, from academe to fishing to harbour administration to shipping to all the other aspects of the national and international maritime environment, and was more than happy to help the AAMA in any way he could.

I remember him with gratitude.
